About
Salemburg Baptist Church's history is intertwined with the town's founding, originating from a church built on the Carroll Plantation around 1834, becoming an independent congregation, relocating, and evolving into the center of a community focused on faith and education, eventually giving its name to the town itself, with its current building constructed in the 1920s after earlier structures.
Vision+Mission+Purpose
At Salemburg Baptist Church, our vision is to be a disciple-making church - a place where believers are equipped, encouraged, and empowered to grow in their faith and help others do the same. We strive to follow the command of Christ by living out our faith daily, serving together in unity, and sharing the love and truth of Jesus with our community and beyond. Everything we do is centered on leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and walking alongside them as they mature in their faith.
